John Buchanan developed an interest in the law as a kid, seeing his dad practice in the city of Grand Rapids, Michigan. While he pursued other interests following graduation from Denison University – to include working in the financial sector and the wooden pallet industry – he wove his way back to the law when he joined Lauren Buchanan & Associates in the fall of 2016.

John handles the broad strokes for the firm – he runs the firm’s day-to-day operations, communicates with clients on a daily basis about their claims, handles all of the medical record and billing requests on behalf of the firm’s clients, and helps to negotiate liens and balances at the time of settlement.
